I’ve been pondering my One Word for a few weeks now. I thought I knew what it would be this year, but I wasn’t sure. I took my time to dwell on the possibilities and reflect on last year.
My word for 2014 was Focus. I never imagined how that word would really become the theme of the year. At the time, I didn’t feel like I was focused. But I was in the middle of learning. “Focus” was a quiet source of encouragement, strengthening me in the waiting.
And now I have a new word for 2015:
Free{dom}.
I’ve already been practicing this in various ways since the beginning of the year. I’m looking forward to exploring freedom and sharing what that means in all areas of life.
I am living FREE and embracing the freedom God gives me.
How does the idea of freedom affect the way you live everyday?
Hi Laura, I love your word of the year and look forward to talking with you about your new free lease on life when I get home! I am recuperating from surgery up @ my sister in law’s house in MD. Got your card before I left but forgot to bring it for your address… thank you, friend! Xoxox
No worries and glad to hear from you! 🙂 Freedom is definitely the word of the year. And yes, we will catch up soon!
